Maria Victoria, affectionately known as Chef Avi, is a dynamic culinary artist and entrepreneur with a rich global journey. Originally from a family that owned a renowned cigar farm, Maria managed operations while working alongside top officials, governors, and dignitaries throughout her home country. Her international path led her to France, where she married an Italian chef, had a daughter, and opened a successful restaurant, blending their culinary roots.
After years in Europe, Maria brought her passion and ambition to America. She settled in Naples, Florida, where she launched a thriving catering business, serving private events and the elite circles of the city. Today, she serves as the Director of Nutrition at a prominent wellness center in both Miami and Maryland, continuing her mission to elevate health and flavor through food.
Chef Avi is celebrated for her ability to blend diverse culinary influences, drawing inspiration from Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and European cuisines. Her signature style leans toward bold and vibrant Pan-Asian dishes.
